Dr. Roland Rutschmann - Member of the Board of Directors

Previously Curatis's Chief Executive Officer (2012-2019), Vice President/General Manager at Orphan Europe in Paris (France), Regional Vice President/General Manager and Vice President Strategic Marketing Europe at Actelion. Worked for Hoffmann-La Roche and Warner-Lambert in Switzerland, The Netherlands and Germany in various managerial marketing and sales positions. Holds a PhD in Cell Biology/Immunology from the University of Basle. Attained commercial education at INSEAD and is Alumni of the INSEAD AMP.

François Bersier - Chief Executive Officer

Previously General Manager at Alexion Pharma International (GmbH), held various commercial & marketing management lead positions at Roche Pharma, Sanofi-Aventis and Caris Life Sciences. More than 25 years of experience in the Life Sciences & Biotechnology industry at national and international levels (Germany, France, Austria, Greece, Israel, Republic of South Africa). Focus on (ultra) rare diseases & oncology. Expertise in strategic & operational marketing, market access and P&R. Educated as a pharmacist, holds a Master's Degree in Marketing, graduated from INSEAD Marketing Champions Program.

Previously at Novartis in Basel, Switzerland in charge of global brands with sales of CHF 600+ million. General Manager Germany at Actelion. Held various positions of increasing responsibility within the marketing and sales function at Pfizer and Parke Davis in Germany and Middle East, successfully managing brands across multiple therapeutic areas. Received his MD degree from the Johannes-Gutenberg University, School of Medicine, Mainz, Germany and graduated with an MBA from Kellogg School of Management and WHU.
